TIIWG is one of the 13 working groups that are part of the Sherpa track. The Ministry of Trade is the supporting agency of TIIWG together with the Ministry of Investment and the Ministry of Industry.

Host Success

TIIWG 2022 Meeting Series Schedule

The First TIIWG meeting will be held at de Tjolomadoe Solo on 29-31 March 2022 Hosted by the Ministry of Industry in a Hybrid format

The Second TIIWG Meeting will be held in Semarang on 6-10 June 2022 hosted by the Ministry of Investment. Hybrid/offline format

The third TIIWG meeting will be held in Nusa Dua, Bali on 19 - 20 September 2022, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort venue hosted by Ministry of Trade.

The TII Ministerial Meeting will be held in Nusa Dua, Bali on 21 - 23 September 2022, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort venue hosted by Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Investment, and Ministry of Industry.

In addition to a series of TIIWG and TII Ministerial Meetings, the Ministry of Trade together with the Ministry of Investment and the Ministry of Industry as the supporting agency for TIIWG also plans to hold a High Level Trade, Investment, Industry Forum (HLTIIF) side event in Bromo/Malang on July 2022.

G20 TIIWG

At the G20 Trade, Investment, and Industry Working Group (TIIWG), Indonesia will emphasize the importance of international trade, industry, and investment for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs.

TIIWG has the opportunity to mainstream trade, investment and industry agendas in the context of achieving inclusive SDGs. For this reason, the TIIWG G20 Presidency in Indonesia will take the theme COLLECTIVE ECONOMIC RECOVERY: ALIGNING TRADE, INVESTMENT AND INDUSTRY AGENDA WITH SDGs.

In addition, Indonesia is also in a position to convey that the establishment of TIIWG G20 is an " innovation " and " privilege " from the Indonesian G20 Presidency as a tangible form of support for global economic recovery.

This issue will form the basis for three other issues, namely.

G20 TIIWG

In accordance with the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, through Public Communications, it is necessary to convey to the public the benefits of the G20 for Indonesia. Based on Presidential Decree 12 of 2021 Kominfo was appointed as the Person in Charge of Communication and Media at the G20 Indonesia Presidency.

The Communication and Media Focal Point in each of the supporting Ministries/Agencies under the coordination of Kominfo will serve as a representation of the substance of the WG, updating information and updating the agenda for the WG meeting. The Head of the Public Relations Bureau and the Director of Negotiations for APEC and OI will be the communication and media focal point at the Ministry of Trade.

To improve public communication about TIIWG activities in the Indonesian G20 presidency, exposure is needed in various media such as the G20 official website & supporting agencies, G20 official social media & supporting agencies as well as coverage on national and international print and electronic media.
